A cross-brand design system for forward-looking digital journalism
Unknown developed the concept and design of the paid media of Tamedia (TX Group) in a scrum process. During a cooperation of almost two years with internal developers and the head of design Marina Bräm, we developed new content structures, layout systems, design guidelines and a comprehensive user experience concept for all well-known titles of the Swiss media house. The Tagesanzeiger, the Bund, the Basler Zeitung, the Berner Zeitung and seven other titles have been shining in a new look since February 2020. We continuously developed further components as well as a digital style guide for the cross-title digital experience.
Overall, Tamedia increased the number of digital subscriptions by 42% to over 120,000 readers compared to the previous year.
